Artist’s statement

Life is a creative, organic, pulsating force within us that is ever changing and ever transforming.  When we make art it is an extension of ourselves … our lives and our inner being.  It is also a journey without an end.   Who I am today is not who I will be tomorrow, and so it is with my artistic expression.  I believe everyone is a creative being and art and life are about how to find and express who we authentically are in time and in each life phase … in all our uniqueness.  Sometimes it comes easily and sometimes it is a challenge, but it is always a fascinating journey if we allow ourselves to take the necessary risks to keep growing and transforming into the new emerging versions of our creative selves.  I trust in time that my own art will inspire others to deepen their creative journey.
