Artist’s statement

My drive as an artist comes from my desire to capture the world in all its splendor and complexity, which I find everywhere. I hope that by looking at my paintings, people will be taken to a place where their feelings and the colors they perceive are in perfect harmony with one another.

Nature, human experience, and the feelings they create are at the heart of my artistic vision. The beauty and complexity of the natural world can motivate anyone to create. Each image I paint is a loving tribute to the wonders of our planet, whether it be the subtle play of light and shadow, the brilliant colors of a sunset, or the peaceful stillness of a forest.

Inviting spectators to engage in their own introspective trip, each brushstroke in my paintings is a conversation between my feelings and the topic. I want my work to elicit a range of feelings, from happiness and awe to introspection and calmness, so that it can connect with viewers from all walks of life.
